Boom lift trucks are used in accordance with the equipment supplier's instructions, and the equipment supplier is responsible for training, guidance and maintenance. In addition, the following safety principles must be followed:
1. Prevent the danger of electric shock
1.1 The aerial work platform is not an insulator and does not provide protection from electric shock. It should comply with the electrical rules.
1.2 When the working environment has strong winds, gusts, or the working vehicle is moving, please pay attention to the swing or sagging of the wires.
1.3 Keep away from the electric wires when working at heights to avoid the risk of electric shock. When there is a live wire on the high-altitude vehicle, the operators on the ground and workbench are prohibited from touching or operating the machine until the power cord is cut off.
1.4 When there is lightning or storm in the working environment, please do not operate the boom lift.
1.5 Do not use the machine as a ground wire when performing welding work.
2. Prevent the danger of tipping
2.1 The personnel and devices on the platform of the work platform shall not exceed the maximum carrying capacity of the platform.
2.2 The lifting and telescopic actions of the platform can only be operated when the working platform is on a level, solid and flat ground.
2.3 Do not use the tilt alarm as a level indicator, because the tilt alarm located in the chassis will only emit a warning sound when the boom lift reaches a certain degree of tilt.
2.4 When the tilt alarm generates a warning sound, the processing method: stop the operation of extending, rotating or lifting. Move the vehicle to a level, firm and even ground. If the alarm sounds when the platform is raised or lowered, please retract and lower the platform carefully. Be careful not to rotate the fuselage when lowering the platform.
2.5 When the work vehicle is running on a sloping, soft, uneven or slippery ground, the operator must pay special attention and keep driving at a slow speed. Do not operate the lifting and telescopic movements of the platform.
2.6 Items placed on the platform should not exceed the edge of the platform.
2.7 Do not arbitrarily change, damage or turn off any machine parts or limit switches that may affect the safety and stability of the working vehicle.
2.8 Do not try to place ladders or scaffolding on the platform in order to increase the working height of the platform.
2.9 Do not use high-altitude vehicles on moving surfaces or vehicles.
3. Prevent the danger of falling
3.1 The operator must abide by the regulations for working at height, wear a safety belt or safety harness, and fix the hook on the platform; wear a work cap.
3.2 Do not lean, sit or climb on the guardrail. Please keep your feet standing on the platform to operate.
3.3 When the high-altitude vehicle is in the ascending state, do not climb the platform.
4. Prevent the danger of collision
4.1 When operating or driving the high-altitude vehicle, please pay attention to the poor vision or blind spot; please pay attention to the surroundings when rotating the fuselage.
4.2 Before operating the lifting action, pay attention to whether there are obstacles or potential dangers above you.
4.3 Please be aware of the possible collision hazard when placing your hands on the guardrail.
4.4 Do not let anyone approach within the operating range of the platform.
4.5 Do not operate high-altitude vehicles on narrow passages, cranes and high-altitude mechanical movement routes.
